Virginia
A few weeks ago we hopped on a plane and headed to Lexington, Virginia to visit Grandpa Mike and Grandma Donna. We loved the quaint university town filled with red brick buildings and mom and pop shops. We had the best of both worlds because we stayed out in the incredibly beautiful countryside which was an easy 15 minutes outside of town.
Nora Lee spent time each day picking buttercups in nearby fields. She was awed by Grandpa and Grandma's relationship with the town ice cream man who delivered fresh lemon sorbet and Guinness ice cream on his way home from work.
